Chiropractic & Massage in one clinic!

Back in 2021, our Fulham-based chiropractic clinic moved to Bishops Road, with Wandsworth Bridge running as a massage and sports therapy clinic. But we’re pleased to announce that, as of May 2023, we will again be offering chiropractic and osteomyology alongside massage and sports therapy at this location!

As the name suggests, the clinic can be found on Wandsworth Bridge Road, within walking distance of Parsons Green, Chelsea, Imperial Wharf and Wandsworth. Since 2016, our experienced and friendly chiropractors have been helping the local community improve their spinal health and wellbeing. Now, our highly-skilled therapists are pleased to offer massage and sports therapies alongside your chiropractic care to help address any muscular and soft tissue complaints.

Whether you’re looking for a spinal adjustment to help ease the pain, or deep tissue massage to help ease a strain, we’ve got you covered. Our Services

  • Chiropractic techniques can help improve a variety of issues and improve your overall health and wellbeing. We see a wide range of clients - from hard-working work-from-homers to overworked manual labourers; stressed-out mums to unsettled babies; and sporty kids to the more mature looking to stay active. Age is irrelevant for chiropractic!

It’s true that many of our clients come to see us due to back pain, and as chiropractic adjustments manipulate and align the spine, we’ve had great results in this area. Or if long hours behind a laptop are impacting your posture, we have specialised techniques and exercises to help you sit straighter.

Those who are active can also benefit from chiropractic. Whether you’re training for a marathon, clocking up miles on the bike, or practise yoga regularly, our specialised chiropractic skills can help improve your spinal flexibility, decrease pain, increase healing of your injury, and improve your overall performance.

If you are pregnant, there is no better time to see a chiropractor. Chiropractic care for the expectant mum can promote optimal baby positioning, increase pelvic stability and hopefully encourage a speedy labour.

  • Sports massage is not limited to elite sports people. Anyone who partakes in sport or has a manual job would benefit from a sports massage. This form of massage is a deeper tissue massage generally associated with the prevention and treatment of strains, sprains and injury.

Soft tissue massage involves employing a variety of techniques to mobilise the soft tissues of the body. These tissues include muscle, ligaments, tendons, fascia and the connective tissue around joints. There are several different techniques employed in soft tissue massage - which one your therapist uses will depend on how they wish to affect the tissue.

We can treat generalised aches and pains, working alongside your chiropractic care; general, acute and chronic back pain (not from accident or injury); uncomplicated mechanical neck pain (not from accident, e.g. whiplash); circulatory problems; sciatica; muscle problems; fibromyalgia; rheumatic pain; minor sports injuries and tensions.

  • Deep tissue therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

While some of the strokes may feel the same as those used in Swedish massage therapy, deep tissue massage is unique in the sense that it is used to dissipate scar tissue and physically break down muscle “knots” or adhesions – bands of painful, rigid tissue – that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, a limited range of motion, and inflammation. Some light bruising is also a possible side effect of deep tissue massage.

  • Swedish massage is a gentle form of massage with the aim of relaxing the whole body. The massage therapist will do a combination of kneading, rolling, vibration, percussive, and tapping movements across the neck, back, arms and legs to release muscle tension. The longer and softer strokes are what sets Swedish massage apart from other types of massage, and the lighter pressure ensures a deeply relaxing experience.
