When people see hot dripping melted cheese, they lose control. There is something about gooey warm cheese that attracts people to it like bees to honey. Stick the cracker into the hot runny Brie and scoop more of it before there is nothing left!

This amazingly easy baked Brie appetizer is always a hit at every party. People swarm around the baked Brie, dipping, munching and enjoying this shared experience. Baked Brie brings people closer together, period.

Everything genius is simple, and this super easy baked Brie recipe is no exception. All you need to do is drizzle the baked Brie with honey and stick it in the oven for 7 minutes. Yes, that’s it! No special cooking skills needed, this recipe is absolutely perfect for beginners. The best part – people devour baked Brie in favor of other fancy hard-to-prepare appetizers. At last – the lazy cook will be the star! Yes, that’s how it is in life – work smart, not hard :) By the way, I have another extremely easy Brie appetizer that’s always a hit – Brie and jam cracker bites – you’ve got to check it out!

Another great thing about this recipe is that the cheapest Brie cheese makes the best baked brie! It’s a very rare occasion when cheaper food is actually better :) The more expensive varieties of Brie have a funny aftertaste when baked, so stick with the cheapest wheel of Brie you can find at the supermarket. You need the whole wheel of Brie – don’t cut it and don’t peel the rind. Just put the whole thingin the oven, bake for 7 minutes and cut a slice open when you serve it so the gooey melted cheese oozes out – yum!

How To Serve Baked Brie Appetizer

Baked Brie is basically a dip, so you need to serve it with the foods that you can dip in it. The most common food to dip into baked runny Brie cheese is crackers. You can also use chips or slices of French bread for dipping. But you don’t have to limit yourself to crackers – I love dipping fruit slices in Brieeven more than crackers! Brie and fruit is a perfect combo, and baked Brie dip goes perfectly with apple slices, pear slices or strawberries!

You can also serve jam with baked Brie –put a jar of jam with a spoon next to the brie, and people can serve themselves and put some jam on top of their brie-dipped bread or cracker! And, of course, honey – Brie with honey is a classic! In this recipe, honey is already drizzled on top of the Brie before baking, but it won’t hurt to serve a jar of honey on the side for those honey bears who just can’t get enough!
