    FAQs

How do you cook Pillsbury cinnamon rolls 8 count? ›

    Prep Instructions

HEAT oven to 400°F (or 375°F for nonstick pan). GREASE round cake pan. PLACE rolls in pan, cinnamon topping up. BAKE 13 to 17 minutes or until golden brown.

How long do you cook canned cinnamon rolls? ›

Simply heat the oven to 400° F (or 375° F for a nonstick pan), place the rolls in a greased round pan with the cinnamon top up, bake for 13–17 minutes or until golden brown, and spread the delicious icing on top. Nothing wakes up a day like an oven-fresh cinnamon roll.

How do you know when canned cinnamon rolls are done? ›

Cover the pan with a large piece of aluminum foil, then bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes. The timing can somewhat depend on the brand of cinnamon rolls, how tightly spaced they are in your pan, and your oven. They should be golden brown on top and cooked through but still very moist when done.

Can you cook Pillsbury cinnamon rolls on a cookie sheet? ›

    Recipe Tips

Faster bake method: Place rolls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at temperature above.

How do you upgrade store bought rolls? ›

Use fresh herbs. Brush melted butter onto your dinner rolls and add your choice of fresh herbs—I like fresh thyme leaves. Bake until the herbs and rolls are toasted, then sprinkle on some flaky sea salt. Now you have herby rolls that pair wonderfully with that holiday lasagna.

Why are my cinnamon rolls tough and dry? ›

The trick with cinnamon rolls is not to rush the rising process. If your cinnamon rolls are coming out of the oven dry and dense, the rolls are telling you that you didn't adequately rest the dough before baking. During the first rise, your dough should at least double in size.

Why are my cinnamon rolls not fluffy? ›

There are a lot of variables that go into the consistency of dough, even down to the weather and humidity. But the most common reason cinnamon rolls don't turn out fluffy is because the dough didn't have enough time to rise.

Do canned cinnamon rolls go bad? ›

Canned dough, such as Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, can last for a certain period of time in the fridge. While it is always best to consume them before the expiration date, they can still be safe to eat for some time after that date if stored properly.

What happens if you let cinnamon rolls rise too long? ›

Can cinnamon rolls rise for too long? Yes definitely! If you let your cinnamon rolls rise for too long you can over-proof them. This can lead to dense rolls or rolls that collapse after baking.

Why didn't my canned cinnamon rolls rise? ›

Yeast needs time to ferment and create carbon dioxide, which causes the dough to rise. If you don't allow the dough to rise for a sufficient amount of time, the rolls won't achieve the desired fluffiness. Ensure you follow the recommended rising times in your recipe. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size.

How long do you put Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in the oven for? ›

These decadent cinnamon rolls provide a sweet reason for your family to gather around the table. Simply heat the oven to 400° F (or 375° F for a nonstick pan), place the rolls in a greased round pan with the cinnamon top up, bake for 13–17 minutes or until golden brown, and spread the delicious icing on top.

Can you bake Pillsbury cinnamon rolls at 350? ›

Simply heat the oven to 350° F, place the rolls in a greased pan, bake for 23–27 minutes or until golden brown, and spread the delicious icing on top. Nothing wakes up a day like an oven-fresh cinnamon roll.

What is the best pan to cook Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in? ›

We found that a 9-inch metal round or square pan works best with this recipe so dough has enough room to expand while baking.

Should Pillsbury cinnamon rolls touch when baking? ›

How do you ensure that cinnamon rolls are baked in the middle of the pan without over-baking the ones around the edges? Don't pack the pan. Leave space enough between them that there's still space after they rise.
